About
Hi my name is Ali and I am currently living in Las Vegas, NV. I am married to the love of my life Josh, and we have a baby named Kale and two dogs; Kingston and Stella.
My husband is in the Air Force so when I started the blog in 2009 we had just moved from Florida (where we were both raised) and relocated to Anchorage, Alaska. I was thinking to myself, "Well this is something that will be very interesting!" Two Floridians that have never shoveled snow off a pebble let alone a drive way for 9 months!
So it started there, first photos because in my free time I love photography and am slowly...very slowly learning. Though even though a picture says a thousand words, there was still much to be added, so then came the stories. How we were surviving, what we were learning, and what people we had met and fun activates that we were finding ourselves doing.
Fast forward to Jan 2011 we found out two very exciting things in the same month...we were to be expecting a baby in the fall and a move two months before that. We packed everything up and moved from rustic small town Alaska to bright lights & the busy city of Las Vegas all with only a month until my due date.
So now the blog seems to lean towards life in my new city and of course that entire mommy hood has to offer. Nothing fancy, just cut and dry basic stories that I hope most people can relate to or at least smile about.
The blog seems to evolve with every new adventure that Josh and I encounter, so as long as I continue to have the time and one person is willing to read, I WILL BLOG!
**Note: I am a horrible speller, yes spell check is amazing and has and will be in my life, though I am crazy and somehow the words that I create can slip past it.
