Where is the street! See its hard to tell where the lanes are if you cant see them!
After (okay so I am defentaly not the best snow shoveler)
Before (where is our driveway!?)
We have gotten over 6 inches of snow today, I feel like I am in a personal battle with snow flakes! This morning I decided to shovel our driveway since it snowed all night. This was a task that is no longer fun, though no more than a week ago ( when Josh purchased the snow shovel) I can recall the both of us fighting over who would shovel the snow. This is no longer something that I am craving to do. So after an hour we had the best driveway on our street! Later when I got home the snow flakes had won the second battle, now I have 4 more inches on our drive way. I laugh at them, they may win this battle but tomorrow they will soon discover they are loosing the war...I will introduce SALT to them, and boom the Floridians have the best driveway again.
I did accomplish more than just talking to the snow flakes all day, my friend Jennie asked me to go with her while she tried on wedding dresses. She is recently married as of Decmember 1, however they were not able to have a wedding in time, so they are planning to have it this December...humm wait that sounds...Jennie is a new snow driver like myself, oh and not to mention we were exploring our way around Downtown Anchorage in a snow storm trying to find this little wedding store. After only spinning out 5 times and cutting off countless drivers, oh and driving off of a curb because come on who can tell what lane is what and where the curb ends when snow is EVERYWHERE, we made it to the store. So to answer many questions, yes Alaskans wear the same type of wedding dresses back in the lower 48, they do not include long sleeves or turtle necks, and surprisingly you can buy one for a reasonable price, unlike everything else here.
Update: Gas prices have gone down, $3.23 gal!
