Hello!
After 11 hours of flying Josh and I got landed in Anchorage yesterday around 445pm, and it was already dark outside. You couldn't see much further than a few feet.
Once the "sun" finally came out around 11am today I actually got a chance to walk around. Alaska is beautiful, EVERYTHING is white and covered with snow, and today's high is around 12 degrees. Its hard to explain the daylight here because you can't actually see the sun, it looks more like an early morning light. Though there is nothing different about the dark, besides that without any light you feel helpless and can't go outside.
Josh had to go to in processing this morning, and we're trying to get a rental car for this weekend, or else we will be stuck without food or water in the hotel room.
