The Honda reached Alaska and we were able to pick it up yesterday! As soon as we pulled out of the parking lot with our car we soon discovered black ice...no later than sliding all over the roads (good thing we have a Florida license plate so hopefully that gives us a free pass for a few days). First thing this morning we went to get snow tires put on, we are one step closer to becoming "winter proof"...probably will fully be ready for winter when summer comes.
The high today is back to 14 degrees and is suppose to get colder each day, I never thought that I would wish for it to be 30 degrees again, but when it reaches above 25 we are all smiles!
