Last weekend we headed up to Palmer, AK with a group of people to go hiking around an old mining town built in the 1930's on the top of a mountain.(This trip is about an hour there, and two back...because of course we will get lost in the mountains) We had so much fun and even brought Kingston. It is getting warmer so you are able to stay outside for longer. However Just because it is spring time here doesn't mean that you won't fall up to your waist in snow while hiking up the mountain...somehow this became something that I was good at.
